Description
This veganes Gelee is a fruity, refreshing plant-based dessert made with agar-agar and your favorite juice. It’s easy to make, fun to serve, and completely gelatin-free!
Ingredients
2 cups fruit juice (any flavor)
1 tsp agar-agar powder
1–2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
1. Pour the fruit juice into a saucepan and bring it to a gentle boil.
2. Whisk in the agar-agar powder slowly while stirring continuously.
3. Let the mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes until the agar dissolves completely.
4. Add maple syrup and lemon juice, stir well, and taste for sweetness.
5. Pour the hot mixture into molds, cups, or a shallow dish.
6. Let it cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for 30–60 minutes.
7. Once set, slice or unmold and serve chilled.
Notes
Use clear juice like apple or pomegranate for more vibrant color.
Adjust sweetness depending on how tart your juice is.
Add fresh fruit or herbs before chilling for extra flavor.
