Description
A refreshing, herbal lemon balm detox drink that gently supports digestion, reduces bloating, and helps calm the body. Perfect for sipping daily, hot or cold.
Ingredients
1 small handful of fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1 tbsp dried)
3 cups filtered water
4 slices fresh lemon
3 slices cucumber (optional)
2–3 fresh mint leaves (optional)
½ tsp grated ginger (optional)
Ice cubes
Raw honey or stevia to taste (optional)
Instructions
Rinse lemon balm leaves and any added herbs well.
Gently crush the lemon balm to release oils.
Add lemon balm, lemon slices, and optional herbs to a large pitcher.
Pour in hot water if using dried leaves, or cold water if using fresh.
Steep for 10–15 minutes (hot method), or refrigerate for at least 1 hour (cold brew).
Strain, then pour over ice.
Sweeten to taste with honey or stevia if desired.
Notes
For stronger flavor, steep longer or double the lemon balm.
Add hibiscus, turmeric, or apple slices for variation.
Keeps fresh in the refrigerator up to 2 days.
Best enjoyed chilled for a summer refresher or warm for relaxation.
