A spicy and creamy Buffalo Tuna Bun Copycat that delivers deli-worthy flavor with easy pantry staples.
Ingredients
2 cans chunk light tuna in water, drained
1/4 cup buffalo hot sauce
2 tbsp Greek yogurt or mayo
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Pinch of smoked paprika
1/4 cup shredded carrot
2 tbsp diced celery
2 tbsp diced red onion
4 brioche buns
Sliced pepper jack cheese (optional)
Butter for toasting
Instructions
1. Drain tuna and flake with a fork into a bowl.
2. In another bowl, whisk buffalo sauce, yogurt, mustard, garlic powder, and paprika.
3. Fold sauce into tuna gently. Stir in celery, onions, and carrots.
4. Slice buns, butter, and toast lightly in a skillet or oven.
5. Spoon tuna mixture onto bottom bun, top with cheese if using.
6. Place under broiler or in toaster oven until cheese melts.
7. Add shredded lettuce if desired, cap with top bun.
8. Serve warm with chips or salad.
